Editorial Policy
How ChinaMedMap researches, writes, reviews, dates and corrects its content — including how we use AI tools.
What we publish
We publish provider profiles and practical guides for international patients. We do not run a general health blog, and we do not publish a page just because a database record exists. A page is opened to search engines only after a separate review confirms it is accurate, sourced, useful and not a duplicate of another page.
Standards
- Plain English, written for readers whose first language may not be English.
- Information, not advice. We describe; we do not diagnose or recommend.
- No guaranteed outcomes, no unsupported success rates, no “best” or “top” claims.
- Hospital marketing text is never copied as fact.
- Prices appear only with a source, a currency and a date.
Attribution and dates
Guides show an author, a medical reviewer where the content is medical, the date published, the date updated and their references. Provider profiles show their sources and last-verified date.
Authors
ChinaMedMap Editorial Team. The editorial team compiles provider and patient-logistics information from official hospital, government and regulatory sources, records where each fact came from and when it was retrieved, and rechecks it on a schedule. The team does not write clinical advice. Named editors and medical reviewers will be listed here as they are appointed.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help find, translate and summarise official sources and to draft text. AI-assisted pages say so. AI-assisted content is checked against the original sources by a person before it is opened to search engines, and AI-drafted medical content is never published without review by a qualified clinician.
Independence
Commercial relationships do not influence what we write, what we verify, or the order in which providers are listed. See the ranking and sponsorship policy.
Corrections
Tell us about an error through the contact page. We correct confirmed errors promptly and update the page’s date.
